First One
Hello, world.
So, this is my first blog ever. How exciting. It certainly took much longer than the "five minutes" advertised to set it up - every username and URL I tried were "unavailable." I almost gave up. However, I pressed on - and here I am.
It took so long to set this thing up that I can't write much of anything now, as I am going backpacking tomorrow and need to get organized. Truth be told, I'm getting interrupted every five seconds, and it's quite annoying - so I can't concentrate.
But, I am happy to make this leap into the modern world.

Look where I'm starting? It's like Genesis. I'm back at the beginning. I'm excited. It's like I get to relive your time in grad school with you even thought I wasn't tehre for the day-to-day. That's so neat. I'm so glad you sent this along.
